What we remove

Mattresses are bulky and awkward, and they rarely fit in a car. We remove:

• Mattresses of every size, from twin to king
• Box springs and foundations
• Bed frames, slatted bases and headboards
• Futons, foam toppers and sofa beds
• Bunk beds and children’s beds
• Several beds at once after a move, a tenant change or a renovation

Our movers bring the bed down stairs and out of the building, so you do not have to wrestle it through hallways. If you are replacing more than the bed, see our furniture removal and sofa and chair removal services.

How it works

1. Request a quote. Call (514) 295-2123, fill in the form on our remove your junk page or send photos. Tell us how many mattresses and box springs you have.
2. Confirm the price. We confirm a price free of charge before pickup, based on volume.
3. Pickup. Our movers arrive in the agreed window, carry the beds out and load the truck.
4. Recycle or donate. We prioritize donation and recycling when possible, and only dispose of what cannot be reused.

Areas we serve

We pick up mattresses across the island of Montreal, including the Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont, Villeray, Verdun, NDG, Outremont, Saint-Laurent and Montreal-Nord. Walk-ups, duplexes, condos and student apartments are all part of the job. We also serve Laval, the North Shore (Terrebonne, Repentigny, Blainville, Boisbriand) and the South Shore (Longueuil, Brossard, Saint-Lambert, Boucherville), within about 80 km of Montreal. Call us to confirm your address. Our crews work 7 days a week from 8:00 to 20:00, so you can pick a morning, afternoon or early evening window that suits you.

Pricing

Mattress removal starts at $150 CAD. The final price depends on volume, and we confirm it with a free quote before pickup, so you know the amount before anything is loaded. A single mattress costs less than a full bedroom set, so tell us what needs to go and send a photo if you can. Because the quote is free and confirmed before pickup, you can compare it and decide without pressure, and you pay for what is actually being removed. See our rates page for more details.

Getting rid of an old mattress: donate, recycle or dispose

The right option depends on the condition of the mattress.

• Donate: a clean mattress in good condition may be reusable. Let us know when you book.
• Recycle: worn mattresses and metal box springs are sorted for recycling whenever possible.
• Dispose: stained, damaged or infested mattresses go to proper disposal.

If you suspect pests, wrap the mattress in plastic before pickup, and tell us so we can handle it carefully. Strip all bedding and clear the path to the door. Measure stairwells and corners if you are moving a large bed. Common mistakes include leaving a mattress on the curb, and not mentioning that it is on an upper floor. Industrial waste is not accepted. For leftover bedroom pieces, our house cleanout service covers whole rooms.

Replacing a mattress is easier when the old one disappears on the same day the new one arrives. Many customers book removal for the day of a delivery, at the end of a lease or after a bedroom renovation. When you contact us, tell us the number of mattresses and box springs, their sizes and the floor they are on, and mention whether there is an elevator. A single bed is a quick job, while a full house of beds takes a little longer. Landlords and property managers also use our service to clear units between tenants, and we can pick up beds, frames and other bulky leftovers in the same visit. Same-day pickup is often available, so call early in the day if you are in a hurry. Tell us if the mattress is on an upper floor, in a basement or in a hard-to-reach bedroom, since access affects how we plan the job. A photo of the stairs and the bed is usually enough for a quick confirmation.
